“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”
While we remain steadfast towards the goal to end fistula in Nigeria, and beyond. It is imperative for us at Bashir Fistula Foundation, to enable our young women with adequate knowledge, as a preventive measure to a circumstance(Fistula) that should never exist, if they were armed with enough information to make the right decisions.
This year, Part of our goal as an organization is to impact as many of them as possible, to reach thousands of these young women. We launched this phase on the 1st of March 2022, sponsored by Gricd Integrated Services limited, at Government Girls Secondary School, Kawo-Kaduna with highlights of interactive and educative sessions, quizzes and prize awards to the winners. Also present were United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Kaduna, other notable non-profits, and the media.
We will keep working towards enabling our young women not just to stand up for themselves but also to make better future decisions towards safer maternal health. Thank you for your support, as always.
