Adewale Barakat is a public health consultant, who bagged her B.Sc from Ahmadu Bello University and M.Sc from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife with a thesis based on Obstetric Fistula.

She currently serves as the Executive Director of Bashir Foundation for Fistula and Women’s Health.
